Baltic Fashion is a project funded by the EU for promoting the fashion industry throughout the Baltic Sea Region. One of its main goals is to revitalise fashion production, to facilitate transnational collaboration, and to strengthen the fashion sector in this area.
The Baltic Fashion project focuses on innovations in clothing and textiles, such as new production methods, technologies, trends and materials, including sustainability as one of the main areas of innovation. The project also aims to accumulate, promote and share this knowledge to benefit fashion businesses in the Baltic Sea Region.
The Baltic Fashion project is running throughout 2011–2013. The project partners come from Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Estonia, Sweden and Finland.
